Francois Chadwick is Shield AI’s Chief Financial Officer, where he oversees investor relations, strategic finance, accounting, tax, financial risk management, pricing and financial operations. Francois has more than 30 years of financial experience, serving in executive roles at Uber, KPMG and Volta. While at Uber, he grew the finance team from zero to 1,100 people, launched finance and accounting operations in 100 countries, and took the company public – achieving a marketing capitalization of $120 billion. Prior to joining Uber, Chadwick was the National Tax Leader of Emerging Growth Practice at KPMG, where he focused on global hyper-growth tech companies; he served as CEO of the consulting firm Taxaccord LLC; and held positions at BDO, Jefferson Wells and Pricewaterhouse Coopers. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Liverpool John Morres University.
