Manas Menon is a Director of Product Development Engineering. He leads the System Integration Verification and Validation (SIVV) team. Prior to joining Shield AI, Manas ran an independent engineering consulting practice and served as the CTO of Glissade Dental, a medical device startup, where he developed the company’s first working prototype dental scanner. Manas earned his bachelor of science in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, along with an MS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He holds 20 patents across a variety of industries.
